More Chantilly Cards ...

As we near the end of the month, its almost time to move onto our next paper range. Before we do we need to use up all the left over bits and pieces from Chantilly. I had just enough off-cuts from my Workshop on the Go pack to make these last 3 cards.

Tools Needed:

12” Trimmer, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scissors & Adhesive

Materials:

We provide in class, however can be found in the Chantilly WOTG Kit.

·         I  x sheet of Card Stock (backing sheet) – Various Colours

·         I x sheet of B&T Paper

·         5 x 1¼” Circles pre-punched from White Daisy cardstock

·         Piece E: 1 strip at 2” x 4.5” of White Daisy cardstock

·         Piece B: 1 Strip at 2½ x 12” of White Daisy cardstock

·         7 x Pink Glitter Gems

·         1 x Button (Optional)

I want to shout out a BIG THANK YOU to all the awesome ladies who came today to our Chantilly Workshop.

We had a slow start due to the very bad Adelaide weather but for our very first Workshop on the Go class it was fabulous. You girls ROCK! Thank you for spending the cold and very wet day at our warm Chantilly Workshop.

I was just soooo excited when I woke up this morning, I just couldn't wait to get there. Who gets up at 7.30am on a Sunday when they don't have to. I had my bags packed a whole two hours before hand.

The planning and preparing was ALL worth it. I KNOW, that YOU all had great time.

Ladies who had never stamped in their albums were getting their fingers inky and loving it.
This is just the start of what is to come... Want to see what we did?

We started off with a little "colouring-in" to have a play and to get the feel of the Close to my Heart Marker sets.
Just so easy to use and a bit of fun while we waited for everyone to arrive.

Then it was time for the good stuff. The 10 ladies who just wanted to make a single page, did their version of my page below. All products provided as we learnt to use stamps to enhance our pages.

The eight ladies who pre-ordered their own Chantilly WotG kit had a lot of fun attempting the pages from the instruction sheet included in the kit. Here is a DPS almost finished, silly me forgot to take a photo of it at the end of the class when it was completed. Lesson learnt for next month. I will see if the ladies will load their pages up on FB for us.

Chantilly Cards

Today I had fun playing with my scraps at our Tuesday Friendship class, see the Workshop / Classes / Gatherings tab for class details if you would like to join me next time.

The best thing about the Chantilly Paper pack (X7163B) is its designed to give you enough products for approximately 6 scrapbooking pages and approximately 6 cards from the scraps. Paired with the Chantilly Dimensional Elements (X7163C) and your pages will pop and your cards will be amazing.

I made these three cards from some of the scraps left over from last weeks pages Let me show you Chantilly and I still have enough to make a few more.

What a great way to start my Workshops on the Go than with the stunning range of Chantilly. For the month of August its all about Chantilly, which I know you are just going to adore. Welcome to my very first Blog

I am really excited to be learning something new. With Close to my Heart, I am learning something new every day. I love the fact that CTMH has re-inspired me to work on my Traditional album making once more. Close to my Heart is new, bright, fresh and fun. I love the Close to my Heart products and I know you will too. I hope to encourage you to be re-inspired with me to complete your album projects too.

If you have half finished albums in your cupboard, I would love for you to dig them out and come along to my next workshop.

My next workshop will be held on Sunday 18^th August, in the Front Room of the Hillier Road Uniting Church, Morphett Vale from 1 am – 5 pm. Cost to attend will be $15 and that includes a 30 min lesson with the products provided to complete the session. The rest of your workshop time will be spent working on your current projects with help and encouragement from me and the other ladies who attend. Working as part of a group is always a lot of fun.
